What is rosana roces?

Rosana Rosales Coscolluela, known professionally as Rosana Rosales or Rosana Roces, is a Filipina actress and producer. She was born on May 10, 1963, in Bauan, Batangas, Philippines. She comes from a family of actors, her father is actor/singer Amado Cortez, the brother of her grandfather, actor Fernando Poe Sr.

Rosales started her acting career at a very young age and has appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout her career. Her most notable roles include the 1996 film "Malamaya" and the 2002 TV series "Darating ang Umaga."

Aside from acting, Rosales has also produced several films and TV shows. She produced the critically acclaimed 2008 film "Serbis," directed by Brillante Mendoza, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and won several awards.

In 2020, Rosales was appointed as the new head of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), a government agency responsible for the promotion and development of the local film industry.

Rosales has a son named Onyok, who is also a actor in the Philippines.
